Working with both Placetel and Webex calling systems

You need an active Placetel or Webex Calling license, and the Webex mobile or desktop application for calls.

Doesn't need a SIP-connector

Integration uses your current Webex mobile or desktop applications and doesn't requires a paid SIP-connector.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION

  1. Install the Placetel/Webex – application from theBitrix24 market.
  2. Open the Placetel/Webex – Bitrix24 application and click Authorize to log in to Placetel or Webex Calling.
  3. In Configure Telephony → Telephony Setting(/telephony/) set Placetel/Webex – Bitrix24 app as the Default Number for Outgoing Calls.
  4. In telephony settings (/telephony/) → Telephony Users, set Placetel/Webex – Bitrix24 as the Default Number for Outgoing Calls for each user of the application.

AND MAKING or RECEIVING CALLS

  • Call from Bitrix24 client card, deal card or lead card.
  • Call back from the incoping or outgoing call activity.
  • Call from Placetel Webex desktop or mobile application having bitrix call window and scripts opened.

How your webex/placetel integration works?

It connects your Webex or Placetel account with Bitrix24 to register calls in Bitrix24 and enables you to make calls directly from deal, lead, and contact cards.

Which Webex product is required to use the integration?

You must have an active Webex Calling or Placetel plan and use the Webex mobile or desktop application to receive calls.  Webex Meetings are not intended for regular inbound or outbound calling.

What bitrix24 plans can be used?

You can use any paid plan, whether cloud-based or on-premises. The free cloud plan is not supported, as access to the app marketplace is restricted.

Why I can't see recorded calls in Bitrix24?

To receive call recordings in Bitrix24, recording must be enabled in your Placetel or Webex Hub. In addition, the “Prevent recording download” option must be disabled on the Recordings page in the Placetel or Webex Hub. Recordings are downloaded within 15–30 seconds after the call ends.

How can I try your webex/placetel integration?

A 7-day trial license is created automatically upon the first installation of the integration. The trial license can only be used once.
